Helping Your Organization Mail Smarter

It is with great pleasure and a sense of personal pride to once again accept the role of Industry Co-Chair for the GRPCC in 2010.  Along with our Vice Co-Chair Bob Zurat, the newly appointed Acting Postmaster Ignatius Vaccaro and our Executive Board members we hope to not only build upon our past accomplishments, but also to re-invigorate our role in the mailing community by forging ahead with new partnerships, such as the one we are building with The Rochester Chapter American Marketing Association (RAMA).  Watch for our jointly sponsored event on April 29 focusing on the going GREEN initiatives.

The overall Vision of the GRPCC is to act as representatives of the mailing community working in conjunction with the United States Postal Services (USPS) to jointly maximize the quality of mail, improve delivery times, and control costs through the sharing of ideas and information.   We can only be successful in accomplishing this vision by asking each of you to join in and become active participants in our offerings throughout the year; whether it be joining our Executive Board, attending our seminars, or just sharing your individual experiences these are all valuable ways to make the GRPCC work for you!

Over the next several months you will be hearing from us on what we are planning in conjunction with the Postmaster and his staff to communicate and educate the mailing community, through relevant seminars focusing on important changes that are coming into play within the USPS.  I encourage each of you to be proactive and become involved today so you are well informed of the changes ahead of them being implemented.

Please join us as we all look forward to a successful 2010!
